Lois L. Pfeifer, 75, of Owatonna, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 25, 2010 at Owatonna Commons. Lois if finally free of all pain and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Lois Lucille Voss was born July 13, 1935 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Harlan and Mildred (Linse) Voss. When she was a young girl, she moved with her family to Owatonna and here she was raised and attended school. She worked at George''s Candy Kitchen (Costas). Lois was united in marriage to David Pfeifer on September 26, 1950 in Northwood, Iowa. They moved to Tacoma, WA and there Lois worked at St. Joseph''s Hospital. The couple returned to Owatonna and she was employed at the Elks, the Legion, Village Coffee House and Hy-Vee. They also had a hobby farm raising sheep and Lois also was the bookkeeper for Pfeifer Industrial. Later David and Lois owned and operated a concessions trailer traveling to area community events and county fairs. David died in December 2009. Through all her physical pain, Lois always had a great outlook on life. She was always smiling and had a great sense of humor. Lois was an inspiration to everyone and a true gift from God. She is survived by four daughters, Maureen (and Mike) Fuller of Owatonna; Sally Anhorn (and her fianc, Tracy Dixon Jr) of Savannah, GA; Leah Ann (and Abel) Talamantes of Owatonna; Tracy (and Ed) Brasseaur of Owatonna; two sons, Nate (and Debbie) Pfeifer of Hopkins; John (and Kayla) Pfeifer of Milwaukee, OR; a step-son, Joachim Kunze (and Hanne) of Frankfurt, Germany; 19 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, David, two sisters, a brother and a granddaughter. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday, October 29, 2010 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A Celebration of Lois'' life will be held Friday, October 29, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Reverend Eliazar M. Talamantes officiating.
