Lois E. Williams, 81, of Owatonna, died Friday, August 6, 2010 at her home in Owatonna. Lois was born December 4, 1928 in Chester, Minnesota the daughter of Edwin and Gena (Nelson) Williams. As a young child their family moved to Owatonna where she attended school. She then moved to Geneva where she helped care for her great nieces and nephews. After they had grown she moved to Granite Falls where she resided with her sister, Marie until returning to Owatonna. She then moved to Harpers Ferry, Iowa and resided with her brother and sister-in-law, Victor and Karroll Williams. She then returned home to Owatonna where she was currently residing. Lois enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, word search puzzles and spending time with children. She also enjoyed her stroll downtown for her cup of coffee at The Nest. She is survived by her brother, John 'Lloyd' (and Maxine) Williams of Owatonna; sister-in-law, Karoll Williams of Oelwein, Iowa; many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Raymond and Victor, and sisters, Marie Otteson and Helen Hansen. Visitation will be 9:00 to 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 6 at Michaelson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Michaelson Funeral Home with Reverend Julie Malone officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
