Lorena S. Kath, 94, of Owatonna, died Monday, November 30, 2009 at Traditions of Owatonna. She was born August 19, 1915 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of Henry and Martha (Muedeking) Stendel. She married Emil Kath October 8, 1938 in Waseca. The couple later moved to New Richland and operated a blacksmith shop. Emil died in 1978. Lorena was a member of St. John Lutheran church. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she also enjoyed cooking, baking, music and dancing. She is survived by her daughter, Mary (and Dewey) Keller of Owatonna, grandchildren, Duane (and Laurie) Keller of Rochester, Sheila (and Jeff) Peterson of Beldenville, WI, Dion Keller of Owatonna, Jason Keller of Owatonna, Ryan (and Patricia) Keller of Owatonna. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Brooke Keller of Owatonna, John Keller and Kathy Keller of Mankato Jaime Peterson and Jennifer Peterson of Beldenville, WI. Kayce Keller, Kerryn Keller, and Kaden Keller all of Owatonna. Lorena was preceded in death by her parents, husband Emil, son Henry, great granddaughter Diana Keller, four brothers, and one sister. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at St. John Lutheran Church on Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Friday December 4, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. John Lutheran Church with Reverend Dave Klawiter officiating. Interment will be in the Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
