Lori Katherine Stockwell, 61, of Perham, MN died Friday, at Perham Health Hospital. She was born October 1, 1957, in Owatonna the daughter of Harold and Carol (Giedd) Nelson. She grew up in Owatonna where she attended school, graduating with the Class of 1976. She married Allan Stockwell and the couple lived in Owatonna and Waseca. Lori worked at Napa in Owatonna. The couple moved to New York Mills where Lori worked at a bank and attended Minnesota State Community Tech earning an I.T. degree. They later moved to Sebeka and she began her first job in I.T. at Cross Consulting. Following a divorce in 2007, she received a second degree and began working for Volt in Fargo and most recently worked at Microsoft in Fargo. Lori enjoyed quilting, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Bridgette (Casey Emans) of Wadena and Dustin (Erika Taylor) Stockwell of Perham; grandchildren, Karter Redetzke, Sophia Stockwell and Amelia Ohrmundt and brother, Rod (Mary) Nelson of Owatonna. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Carol Nelson and a infant brother, Anthony Al Nelson. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna on Thursday, December 13th from 4-7pm and on Friday from 9-10am. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 14, 2018 at 10:00am at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna with The Reverend Cindy Halvorson officiating.
