Louise Mary Krause, 90, of Owatonna, died Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Koda Living Community. She was born July 29, 1928 in Wells the daughter of LeRoy and Florence (Nutter) Danks. Louise graduated from Mapleton High School. After secretary training she moved to Owatonna and accepted a position with Federated Insurance. On June 17, 1950 she married Warren Krause at the United Methodist Church in Owatonna. The couple farmed in Owatonna Township and Somerset Township. Louise took time off to raise her children in the middle of her 25 year career with Federated Insurance. In her retirement, Louise enjoyed working summers for Josten's with their marketing services department. Louise was an active member of Owatonna United Mehtodist Church, a member of the Eastern Star and the Do Si Do Square Dance Club. She served as a 4-H Leader with Record Buster's 4-H Club. Louise and Warren were members of a couples card club. She enjoyed sewing and cooking, and was a dedicated grandmother who enjoyed participating in her grandchildren's lives. She is survived by daughters, Rebecca (and David) Linders of Owatonna, Anita (and Kevin) Dunlavey of Jackson, Cynthia Norton of St. Paul, Holly Coady of Monticello; grandchildren, Tracy (and Duane) Boyum, Timothy (and Shelli) Linders, Ryan (and Lisa) Dunlavey, Megan (and Dan) Meyers, Kaitlin (and Joe) Sullivan, Nicholas (and Amy) Norton, Alex Coady, Anthony Coady; 13 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sister in law, Betty Danks of St. Paul; brother in law, David (and Jean) Krause of Owatonna; She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Krause; daughter, Patricia Krause; son in law, Richard Norton; brothers, Harold Danks, Alfred Danks, Arthur Danks; sisters, Evelyn Dulas, Grace Tennis. Visitation will be at United Methodist Church on Wednesday from 10am to 11am. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 11am at United Methodist Church with The Reverend Loren Olson officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Owatonna.
