Lucille M. Peterson, 91, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Homestead Hospice House. She was born December 15, 1920 in Geneva, Minnesota the daughter of John and Ella (Camp) Jensen. Lucille graduated from Blooming Prairie High School and attended teachers training in Austin. She married Neil Peterson July 18, 1940 at Trinity Lutheran Church Bixby, and the couple lived in rural Blooming Prairie where Lucille taught country school. She later worked at Jostens and Prairie Manor Nursing Home as an office administrator. Lucille was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Bixby. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends, traveling, and crocheting and knitting. She is survived by her children Sharon (and William) Oliver of Rochester, Thomas Peterson of Lake Tahoe, Warren (and Mary) Peterson of Northfield, seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and one sister. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Sunday January 15, 2012 from 12PM to 1PM. Funeral services will be held Sunday January 15, 2012 at 1PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Reverend Jonathan Davis officiating. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery in Blooming Prairie Township.
