Lucille Mamie Walker, 96, of West Concord, died Monday, December 18, 2017 at her home at Circle Drive Manor. She was born April 20, 1921 in Salem, Virginia the daughter of Everett and Bertha (Humphries) Huff. She graduated from Andrew Lewis High School in Salem, Virginia with the Class of 1938. She married Charles Walker, Sr. on October 13, 1945 in Virginia. Lucille worked 23 years at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester as a housekeeper, retiring on May 15, 1984. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Legion Auxiliary and Senior Citizens of West Concord. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and travel. She is survived by sons, Charles (Dianna) Walker of Thomasville, NC and Brian (Mary Beth) Walker of Mantorville; daughter, Jane (Roger) Vreeman of Byron; sister, Margaret Allen of Salem, VA; seven grandchildren, Beth (Craig) Whalen, Amy (Matt Flynn) Vreeman, Erik (Jenna Rudnick) Walker, Allison (Chad Cushion) Walker, Chuck (Lyndsey) Walker, Lisa (Ken) Shell, Kathy (Darell) Robbins; twelve great-grandchildren; sisters in law, Darlene (Stan) Tompkins, Eunice Walker and Carol Walker; niece and nephew, Betty Crane and Mike (Kathy) Spencer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Bertha; husband Charles Walker; brother, Guilford Huff; sister, Dorothy Spencer and niece, Carolyn Baker. A visitation will be held at Michaelson Funeral Home in West Concord from 1-2 PM on Saturday, December 30th. A Funeral Service will be held December 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home, West Concord Chapel with Pastor Dave Westlake, Pastor Jim Rushton and Pastor Dave Breederland officiating. Interment will be in the Concord Cemetery in Concord Township. Memorials are preferred to Circle Drive Manor, 56733 State Highway 56, West Concord, MN 55985.
