Luella O. Abraham, 100, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Koda Living Community. Luella was born April 11, 1914 in Steele County, Minnesota the daughter of Delbert and Martha (Werdien) Rasmussen. Luella was united in marriage to Herbert Abraham on January 17, 1938 in Charles City, Iowa. They lived in the Owatonna area their married life. Luella worked as a nanny and housekeeper for the Vitus Hudrlik family. She cooked at various restaurants in Owatonna and the Owatonna Hotel. Everyone enjoyed her pies at Gordon's Ice Cream Store. Luella had lived at Cedarview (Park Place) the last two years. She enjoyed wordbooks, church, television, and family get togethers. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Mortensen of Owatonna; two grandsons, James (and Debra) Mortensen of Owatonna and Todd (and Janelle) Mortensen of Ellendale; four great grandchildren, Melissa, Jeremy (and Jessica), Christopher, and Josie; great great grandson, Quincey; her brother, Mark Rasmussen of Owatonna; and her sister, Doris Kriesel of Owatonna; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Abraham (1991); her parents; a son-in-law, Robert Mortensen (2010); brother in law, Charles Kriesel, and sister-in-law, Marian Rasmussen. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and one hour prior to the service in the church. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM at The Associated Church with The Reverend Jim Oberg officiating. Interment will be in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens in Owatonna.
