Manuel "Manny" De Jesus Ramirez, 36, of Kenyon, died on May 7, 2020. He was born June 16, 1983, in Del Rio, Texas the son of Raymundo and Maria (Reyna) Ramirez. Manny moved to Kenyon with his family when he was 8 years of age. He attended Kenyon-Wanamingo High School. He had many jobs and was most proud of working for Ramirez Trucking as a mechanic. Manny was a proud father of Milo who is 9 years of age. He enjoyed celebrating every holiday, especially Halloween, Christmas and Easter. His favorite was the 4th of July, where he would host family and friends while entertaining them with firework shows. Manny also enjoyed helping others and gardening. He will be remembered as a social butterfly who easily made friends everywhere he went. He is survived by his son, Milo Ramirez of Red Wing; father, Raymundo Ramirez of Kenyon; siblings; Maria Rodriguez, Elida (Alfonso) Tellez, Ana Ramirez, Blanca Zapata, Raymundo Ramirez, Ramiro Ramirez, Teresa (Reymundo) Cruz, Rodolfo Ramirez, Julie (Calixto) Torres, Ruben (Yadira) Ramirez; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Ramirez and niece, Jasmine Cruz. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Kenyon. Interment will be in the Kenyon Cemetery.
