Marceline 'Marcie' R. Lennon, 86, of Owatonna, died Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Augustanna Emerald Crest of Victoria. Marceline Renata Krienke was born May 8, 1924 in Deerfield Township, Minnesota the daughter of William and Emma (Kuhnke) Krienke. Marcie was baptized into faith and later confirmed her faith at St. John Lutheran Church, Owatonna. She was raised in Owatonna and attended school. Marcie was united in marriage to Myron Lennon on August 21, 1941 in St. John Lutheran Church. They farmed in Merton Township for many years. After her husband's death in June of 1983, Marcie moved to Owatonna. In January, she moved to Emerald Crest Care facility in Victoria. Prior to being a member at Good Shepherd, Marcie was a member at Moland Lutheran Church. As a teenager, she belonged to the Luther League at St. John Lutheran. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking and cooking. Marcie entered her baked goods and flowers in the Steele County Free Fair. She is survived by two sons, Duane (and Reni) Lennon of Owatonna; Randy (and Mary) Lennon of Kasson; two daughters, Debbie (and Lee) Paulson of St. Bonifacius; Kari (and Steve) Schultz of Kearney, NE; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Myron, a daughter, Bonnie Corcoran, four sisters and two brothers. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service in the church. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with The Reverend Greg Schlicker officiating. Interment will be in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens in Owatonna. Memorials are preferred to the donor''s choice.
