Marcella Marcie Dorothea Risch, 85, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Shakopee. She was born February 19, 1930 in Owatonna the daughter of Joseph and Elsie (Rysavy) Brick. Marcie graduated from Owatonna High School. She worked as a librarian before marrying Fred Risch Septmeber 12, 1948 in Owatonna. Following their marriage, Marcie enjoyed working along side her husband in the family business, Master-Craft in downtown Owatonna. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School. Marcie loved the sun, reading, socializing, going to the lake and winters spent in Florida. She is survived by her children, Dan (and Bonnie) Risch of Burnsville, Holly Knappe of Lumberton, TX, Debra Risch of Eden Prairie, David (and Lisa) Risch of Owatonna; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Ed (and Phyllis) Brick of Texas and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Risch; sister, Eunice Seykora; great grandson, Elias. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Sunday from 2pm to 4pm and at Trinity Lutheran Church on Monday from 9:30am to 10:30am. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 25, 2016 at 10:30am at Trinity Lutheran Church with The Reverend Amanda Weinkauf officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Owatonna. Memorials are preferred to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation or to the donor's choice.
