She also spent time watching the Minnesota Twins and Vikings on the television or listening on the radio. Marcella was known for her homemade meals and pies, never wanting anyone to go away hungry. With every meal was some type of pie for dessert. Pecan, rhubarb or triple berry. She enjoyed playing cards and games with her grandchildren and taking day trips. Marcella had a wonderful sense of humor. She was very spunky, energetic and kept busy. Her house was immaculate and kept clean all the time. Marcella and Bill were lifelong members of St. John''s Lutheran Church. They helped at many church functions, ice cream socials, pancake suppers and Marcella would also help at funeral lunches.
