Marcella Huerta, 44, of Owatonna, died Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the Owatonna Hospital. Marcella was born March 1, 1969 in San Antonio, Texas the daughter of Ramon and Telesfora (Zavala) Mendoza. She was raised in San Antonio and graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School in 1987. She then worked at the Kelly Air Force Base. She was united in marriage to Celso Huerta in 1991. The couple lived in Dodge Center, Faribault, Northfield and Owatonna. Family was very important to Marcella. She is survived by her husband Celso Huerta of Owatonna; her children Erica (and Edgar) Gutierrez of Owatonna; Maxine Huerta of Owatonna; Paul Huerta of Owatonna; Lorrainne Huerta of Owatonna and Cecilia Huerta of Owatonna; a grandson Edgar Gutierrez Jr. of Owatonna; her mother Telesfora Mendoza; and her brothers and sisters Ramon Mendoza; Zac Mendoza; Mary Aguliar; Gracie Gomez; Letty Mendoza; and Alicia Rodriquez. She was preceded in death by father, Ramon Mendoza. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
