Marcella A. Mensing, 76, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at her residence. She was born November 30, 1935 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of Peter and Josephine (Skalicky) Chesney. Marcella attended St. Mary''s School in Owatonna. She married Robert Mensing on May 4, 1953 and they were married 58 years. Marcella enjoyed fishing, listening and dancing to country and old time music, baking, and going to casinos. She also enjoyed playing cards, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Robert Mensing; daughter, Jody (and Mark) Madsen; two grandchildren, Courtney Madsen, and Justin (and Stephanie) Madsen; great granddaughter, Gracie; brother, Martin (and Linda) Chesney; two sisters, Teresa Chesney, and Rosemary Gedicke. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two infant sisters. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday, July 20, 2012 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM . Funeral services will be held Friday, July 20, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with The Reverend Robert Mundahl officiating. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Owatonna.
