Margaret J. Dostal, 93, of Owatonna, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Koda Living Community. She was born July 19, 1920 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of Edward and Anna (Antl) Pichner. Margaret grew up in Owatonna and attended Country School District 32. She later was united in marriage to Harry Dostal on November 16, 1941 in Yuma, AZ. The couple returned to Havana Township and together they started farming. Margaret enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, baking, and cooking. She loved being with family, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a very loving mother and grandmother who was very non selfish and well respected. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Arndt of Owatonna, son, Darrell (and Joan) Dostal of Potosi, MO, son in law Dale Springer of Owatonna, nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and one sister Alice Johnson of Gering, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry Dostal, daughter Darlene Springer, and son in law Dennis Arndt, and one brother Fred Pichner Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Saturday August 3, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with funeral services following at 11:00 AM with Andrew Dostal officiating.
