Margaret 'Peg' Helen Heidtke, 96, passed on to her eternal reward on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Koda Living Community. Margaret was born May 28, 1916 in Redwood Falls, to Charles and Salome (Gorringe) Calverley. She married Marvin Heidtke on June 22, 1941 in Ellendale and they were blessed with three children, Kathie, Nancy and Paul. Margaret enjoyed working with her flowers, baking, quilting, sewing and reading. Most of all she treasured spending time with her family. Left to cherish her memory are a son, Paul Heidtke of St. Paul; two daughters, Nancy (Allan) Avery of Owatonna, Katherine Alver of Dalhart, TX; five grandsons, Sheldon (Michelle) Alver, Brian (Tracy) Alver, Justin (Amy) Alver, Matthew (Kathy) Firebaugh, Nathan Firebaugh; six great grandchildren; brother, Jim Calverley of Albert Lea; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; infant son, grandson, Kevin Alver; three brothers, Bob, Victor and John Calverley; three sisters, Gertie Klemmensen, Martha Wencl and Edith Connor; son-in-law, Ivan Alver. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. and at Our Savior's Lutheran Church on Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with Reverand Karl Korbel officiating. Interment will be in the St. Ansgars Cemetery in Ellendale. Memorials are preferred to donors' choice or Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
