Margaret Dorothy Nelson, 92, of Owatonna died, Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Cedarview Care Center. Margaret was the youngest daughter of August and Sarah (Lee) Arndt, born June 1, 1919, at the Owatonna Hospital. She married Harold S. Nelson on August 6, 1939, at the Little Brown Church in the Vale, Nashua, IA. She lived and worked her entire life in Owatonna. She was a homemaker and worked part time at Green''s Grocery Store, Collin''s Produce, and the Owatonna Nursing Home. She enjoyed fishing with family members in northern Minnesota and spending time with children and grandchildren. She is survived by four children: Barb (and Marv) Kubat of Owatonna; David (and Lois) Nelson of Medford; James (and Janet) Nelson of Owatonna; Debbie Nelson of Owatonna; nine grandchildren; Cinda Borash; Cheryl (and John) Sommer; Lisa (and Dan) Rousher; Mark (and Diana) Kubat; Mike Nelson; Matt (and Tracy) Nelson; Sara (and Terry) Gaulrapp; Jeff Nelson and Jamie (and Eric) Stowe; 24 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold in 1986; daughter, Karen in 1993, brothers and sister-in-laws Anton (and Lilian) Arndt; George (and Irene) Arndt; Stanley (and Doris) Arndt; Donald (and Lydia) Arndt; Luella (and Glen) Wilson, Lorinda (and Bernard) Yessak and in-laws Clifford and Edna Nelson. Visitation will be at the Michaelson Funeral Home on Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with the Reverend Ron Gilthvedt officiating. Internment will be in St John''s Cemetery.
