Margaret Louise Randall, 93, of Owatonna, died Sunday, May 26, 2024 at The Estates of Bloomington in Bloomington.
She was born March 8, 1931 in Clinton Falls Township the daughter of Raymond and Viola (Johnson) Nelson on the Walter Schaefer farm. She attended District 35, 28 & 4 country schools and later attended Owatonna High School. Margaret Nelson was united in marriage to Oliver "Ollie" Randall on September 11, 1950 at United Methodist Church in Owatonna.
The couple farmed together near Steele Center for 16 years before moving to Owatonna in 1970.
Margaret was a member of the Methodist church in Geneva and later Owatonna, extensions clubs, Eagle's Auxiliary and Red Hats. She taught Sunday school, provided daycare for ten years and took care of her mother for 17 years. Margaret worked at Josten's, EF Johnson's in Waseca, and Sisser's Dress Shop. She owned Peggy's Shoppe and loved arranging flowers and creating crafts to sell. She found joy in spending time with her family hosting birthday parties and holiday celebrations.
She is survived by son, Richard Randall of Morristown; daughters, DeeAnn Randall of Geneva, Dawn Remme of Wichita, KS; seven grandchildren, Melissa (and Adam) Bohrer, Dustin Remme, Elizabeth Randall, Jacob (and Kristi Petersen) Jensen, Andrew (and Jordan Carroll) Jensen, Joshua (and Tara McGraw) Randall, Corey (and Sarah Britzius) Randall; great grandchildren, Sasha Bohrer, Justine (and Ken) Carlson, Rylee Jensen, Wesley Jensen, Finley Jensen, Drayten Randall, Kera Randall, Lex Randall; great great grandchildren, Elijah, Danika, Gabriella, Lorelai, Malcolm, Viviane; brother, Duane (and Diane) Nelson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Randall; son, David Randall; brother, Darrell Nelson; sister, Lois Johnson; niece and goddaughter, Sheila Beaulieu; great nephew, Anthony Freiheit.
Margaret is also survived by and preceded in death by many beloved members of the Randall family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
