Margery Lorraine Arnold, age 92 of Owatonna, Minnesota died peacefully surrounded by her close family on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Birchwood Cottages in Owatonna.

Margery was born March 1, 1933, in Waseca, Minnesota to Milford and Lillian (Bakken) Berg.

She was united in marriage to Alvie L. Arnold Jr. on April 12, 1953, at Trinity Lutheran Church in New Richland. They resided for most of their married lives in Owatonna.

Over the years, Margery made drapes, was a school aide, and was a secretary and bookkeeper at many different businesses in town. She was a homemaker for her family and enjoyed working in her yard and garden.

She was diagnosed with MS at the age of 50 and eventually became wheelchair bound. Margery and Alvie sold their home in 2017 and moved into assisted living facilities.

Margery is survived by her son, Rick (and Lori) Arnold of Owatonna; daughter, Tami (and Kevin) Danger of Braham; grandchildren, Trevor (and Kendra) Arnold and their children, Sydney and Raegan, Brendon Arnold, and Bobbi Jo (and Eric) Lierman and their children, Gavin, Harper, and Grant.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvie in 2022, and a grandson, Levi Arnold.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna. Interment will be in St. Olaf Cemetery in New Richland.
