Margret E. Bartholomew 79, of West Concord, died Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Country Oaks Home Care in rural Dodge Center after a long illness with Alzheimer's disease. She was born March 26, 1936 in West Concord, Minnesota the daughter of Berlyn and Delia (Tracy) Cain. Margret graduated from West Concord High School in 1954. She married Delmar Bartholomew on June 3, 1955 in West Concord. She was a homemaker for many years and sold Avon for over ten years. Margret and Delmar owned and operated the bowling alley in West Concord for ten years. She also worked as a bank teller at Farmers State Bank from 1990-2004. Margret was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church. She was a member of the Monday night card club, enjoyed shopping with her daughters, and going to Treasure Island. She is survived by her children Lori (Rick Franzen) Ellingson of West Concord, Kim (Mike) Jones of West Concord, Kelli (and Hal) Leland of Brainerd, and Scott (Cindy) Bartholomew of Kasson. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren Jeremy (Jennifer) Ellingson, Nathan (Kelly) Jones, Brendt (Leah) Jones, Derrik (Dani) Ellingson, Krista (Court) Burke, Cassi (Brian) Garness, Taylor (Kevin Erler) Ellingson, Jesica (Rick) French, Adam Bartholomew, Ben Leland, Sam Bartholomew, and Nikki Leland, sixteen great grandchildren and a sister in law Jenny (Cain) Sigrist of Rochester. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Delmar, and two brothers Garon and Larry Cain. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, West Concord on Tuesday June 30, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church on Wednesday July 1, 2015 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial services will be Wednesday July 1, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with The Reverend John Sauer officiating. Interment will be in the Concord Cemetery.
