Marian J. Anderson, 84, of Owatonna, died Friday, July 25, 2014 at Koda Living Community. She was born June 1, 1930 in Dodge County, Minnesota the daughter of Henry and Josephine (Madson) Knutson. She attended School in Dodge County, and then was united in marriage to Raymond Anderson March 5, 1949, and he later died in March of 2010. She worked at OTC for over twenty years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Some of her hobbies included baking, cooking, fishing, going to rummage sales, and dancing. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children Ray (Sue) Anderson of Owatonna, Russ (Lisa) Anderson of Kasson, Judy Anderson of Blooming Prairie, and Nancy (Larry) Paul of Medford, ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters Hilda Christenson of Cambridge, and Ardella (Richard) Brekke of Rochester. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Beverly Mucha, great granddaughter Cali Peterson, five brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Sunday July 27, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and at Trinity Lutheran Church on Monday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM . Funeral services will be held Monday July 28, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church with Reverend Ron Barth officiating. Interment will be in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
