Marian Ardene Dalland, 92, of Owatonna, died Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Traditions I in Owatonna.

She was born February 18, 1932, in Britt, Iowa to Edward and Lois (Swaney) Bedford. Marian attended school in Britt before she married Merle Dalland on October 5, 1948, in Rochester, Minnesota. They were blessed with three boys, Gary, Mike, and Jim. Merle and Marian traveled for his job throughout the Midwest before starting National Tree Service in Owatonna. Marian was a bookkeeper for the business and helped the business with anything that needed help and retired in 1987.

Marian was a very active person from powerwalking, to snowmobiling, golfing with family and friends to tending to her flower garden. She was an avid and passionate Minnesota Twins fan, but even bigger fan of her grandchildren and attending their sporting events. Words cannot describe how much big of an impact she made to her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Jim (and Donna) Dalland of Hartford, SD; grandchildren, Chad(and Sarah) Dalland, Brian (and Amy) Dalland, Mark (and Crystal) Dalland, Jeremy (and Laura) Dalland, Toni (and Kenny) Dahlenburg, Chris (and Jenny) Dalland, and Melissa Dalland-Porter; several great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Ruth Rysavy, Marge Drache, Lavonne Erdan, and Barb Dalland; daughters-in-law, Joanne and Maxine Dalland; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Merle Dalland; sons, Gary and Michael Dalland; and parents, Edward and Lois Bedford; siblings, Rolland, Elmer, Lavonne, and Bob Bedford.

Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 9AM to 11AM. Funeral services will be held on Monday February 3, 2025, at 11AM at Michaelson Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna. Memorials are preferred to the Owatonna Hospice House.
