Marian L. Lowrie, 97, of St. Paul, died Monday, June 29, 2009 at Golden Living Center Lynnhurst. Marian was born June 23, 1912 in Lake City, Minnesota the daughter of Ray and Addie (Belle) Boatman. Marian was raised in Lake City and attended high school. She then attended Winona School of Business. She was united in marriage to Keith Lowrie on January 20, 1934 in Winona. They moved to Red Wing and there made their home for 25 years. In 1957, they moved to Owatonna. Marian was a member of the Eastern Star, a member of the United Methodist Church and volunteered at Senior Place and Hospital Auxiliary. Keith died July 2, 1977. She is survived by a son Tom (and Linda) Lowrie of Inver Grove Heights; and a granddaughter, Noelle Lowrie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith, her parents and two sisters. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Memorial service will be held Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Pastor Loren Olson officiating.
