Marian L. McVary, 81, of Kenyon, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. She was born August 31, 1930 in Kenyon, Minnesota the daughter of Edward and Emma (Kispert) Hildebrandt. Marian graduated from Kenyon High School in 1948 and attended Nurses Training at St. Lucas in Faribault for three years. She then married Clyde McVary on June 12, 1954 at the United Methodist Church in Nerstrand and the couple moved to Montana. They later moved back to Minnesota and lived in Crystal, later moving back to Kenyon. Marian enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren; she attended many of the kid''s activities. She was also an avid Twins fan. She is survived by her three daughters Pat (and David) Schreiber of Kenyon, Kay (and Scott) Nord of Oconomowoc, WI, and Janet (and Jeff) McBride of Elko. She is also survived by her grandchildren Emily (and Jeff) Schoenfelder, Maari Schreiber, Sara (and Lee) Eppler, Brian (and Anne) Nord, Madison, Mollie, and Meghan McBride; great grandchildren Kyra, Preston, and Trey Schoenfelder and Gage Eppler; three sisters Alyce Helgeson, Jane Aase, and Ruth Jacobson all of Kenyon and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clyde on February 5, 2012, two sisters and two brothers. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, Kenyon on Friday June 22, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at United Methodist Church/Kenyon on Saturday June 23, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Saturday June 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM at United Methodist Church/Kenyon with Reverend Dana Houck officiating. Interment will be in the Kenyon Cemetery.
