Marilyn A. (Wencl) Dulas, 59, of West St. Paul, formerly of Owatonna, died Saturday, November 26, 2011 after a brief illness. She was born December 3, 1951 in Owatonna, the daughter of Joseph and Martha (Calverly) Wencl. Growing up she was in 4H, enjoyed sewing, playing the piano and softball. She graduated from Owatonna High School and worked for Federated Insurance, retiring after 36 years. Marilyn married Greg Dulas on April 27, 1985 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Owatonna and they resided in West St. Paul. She enjoyed playing bingo, old time music, baking, perfecting donuts and being with her family. She was a grand story teller and a jokester, with a contagious laugh. She enjoyed annual camping and fishing trips, and was a fun out going person. Marilyn was a member of Western Fraternal Life Association and Federated Quarter Century Club. She is survived by her husband Greg Dulas of West St. Paul; brother, Kenneth Wencl of Smyrna, GA; brother-in-law, Neil (and Carolyn) Dulas of Inver Grove Heights; sisters-in-law, Connie Dulas of West St. Paul, Elaine Wencl of Alexandria; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles Wencl; sister, Betty Wencl and infant sister. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Thursday from 5pm to 8pm and at Our Savior's Lutheran Church on Friday from 1pm to 2pm. Funeral services will be held December 2, 2011 at 2pm at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with The Reverend John Weisenburger officiating. Interment will be in the St. Ansgar Cemetery, Ellendale. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
