Marilyn J. Scholljegerdes, 87, of Owatonna, died Monday, October 22, 2012, at the Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna. She was born January 14, 1925 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of Edward and Laurella (Schwake) Bleckert. She attended Owatonna High School and graduated in 1943. She married George Paulson Jr. in 1947 and in their union they had two children, Jeffrey and David. George died in 1953. She then married Ronald Fraser in 1959, and in their union had one son, Alexander. Ronald died in 1967. In 1974, Marilyn married Kenneth Scholljegerdes. Kenneth died in 1997. Marilyn worked at Federated Insurance for twenty-five years. She later worked at the Owatonna Peoples Press for over ten years. Marilyn was an avid reader. She also enjoyed traveling in the states and overseas, especially to Great Britain. She is survived by her three sons, Jeffrey (and Pam) Paulson of Ogden, UT, David (and Patricia) Paulson of St. Paul, and Alexander Fraser of Long Beach, CA; two grandchildren, Brian (and Stephanie) Paulson, and Katy Paulson; great granddaughter, Sydney Paulson; two sisters, Corrine Scholljegerdes of Owatonna, and Joan Lowry of Ogden, UT. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three husbands, George Paulson Jr., Ronald Fraser, and Kenneth Scholljegerdes. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday, October 26, 2012 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM . Funeral services will be held Friday, October 26, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Klawiter officiating. Memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association.
