Marion L. Erdman, 87, of Owatonna, died Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Clare Bridge. She was born July 8, 1923 in Waseca, Minnesota the daughter of Guy and Lulu (Billiard) Miller. She graduated from Waseca High School in 1942. Marion was united in marriage to Dean Erdman on April 12, 1942 in Seattle, Washington and then they moved to Owatonna. Marion was involved in United Methodist Church Quilting Group where she designed a quilt, Senior Place Quilting Group, Owatonna Hospital Auxiliary, and Owatonna Jaycees. She also loved to paint, knit, crotchet, make necklaces and bowls. She is survived by her son, Gary (and Bettye) Erdman of Tallahassee, Florida; granddaughters, Elizabeth Colvin of Tallahassee, Florida, Cheryl (and Russell) Scott of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; brothers, Don Miller of Mankato and Glen Miller of Long Beach, California; sister, Darlene Erickson of Minneapolis; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dean and son, Richard. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM . Funeral services will be held December 16, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Pastor Loren Olson officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna. Memorials are preferred to Senior Place in Owatonna or United Methodist Church.
