Marjorie Ann Christensen, 72, of Owatonna, passed away on November 20, 2025, at New Richland Care Center.

She was born June 27, 1953, in Morristown, to Clarence Voegele and Margaret (Welch) Lewis. Marjorie grew up in Faribault, Minnesota, and attended country school, she later graduated with her GED. She met Dale Christensen in the 1970's and they were united in marriage on May 28, 1983, in Owatonna. Marjorie was a factory worker throughout her life, working at OMC and Truth.

Marjorie loved her family and friends and cherished the time they had together. She enjoyed bowling, pool, baking, crosswords, and puzzles. She also had a love for chocolate and candy bars.

She is survived by her mother, Margaret of Faribault; daughter, Becky Meillier of Owatonna; son, Jason Meillier of Owatonna; sister, Sue Voegele of Faribault; and grandchildren, Alex and Danielle Barber.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence; husband, Dale; daughter, Cathy Meillier; son, Bobby Joe; brother, James Voegele; and special friend, Shawn Robb.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna at 11 am with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Owatonna Memorial Gardens following the service. A reception will take place after the graveside at Michaelson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed towards the family.
