Marjorie M. Hanson, 75, of Woodinville, Washington died in her sleep on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at her home in Woodinville. She was born February 22, 1938 in Steele County, Minnesota the daughter of Lloyd and Mary (Kubat) Hanson. She attended Steele Center Country School District #40 and graduated from Owatonna High School. She worked at Federated Insurance in Owatonna. She moved to Rochester and worked at the Mayo Clinic. She then moved to Woodinville, WA to be near her parents. Together they moved to Hawaii where Marjorie helped the family with horses. Shortly thereafter, they returned to Woodenville. She loved music and enjoyed playing the piano, organ, and cordovox. She also adored her cats. She is survived by her nephews, Kenneth 'KJ' (and Renee) Hanson of Covington, WA, and Michael Hanson of Owatonna; great nephew, Carter Hanson; sister-in-law, Linda Hanson (and Wayne Enzenauer) of Owatonna; and many cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Hanson. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with The Reverend Ron Wilson officiating.
