Obituary

Marjorie M. Wilday, 84, of Owatonna, died Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the Owatonna Hospital. She was born May 7, 1926 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of Albert and Elizabeth (Kokaisel) Case. Marjorie graduated from Owatonna High School with the Class of 1944. On Dec. 17, 1946 she married George Wilday at her parent''s house. She was a loving and devoted homemaker and wife. She was a member of the Clinton Fall Home Improvement Club, involved with 4-H, and a member of Associated Church. Marjorie enjoyed spending time with her family at the cabin on Cedar Lake, square dancing with the DO-Si-Do square dance group, crocheting, camping, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband George Wilday of Owatonna, children Sandy Sprung of Owatonna, Cindy (David) Melby of Owatonna, and Jeff Wilday of Brooklyn, New York, grandchildren Shelly (Klane) Dushek, Noel Sprung, Tiffany (Tim) Jenkins, Kain Melby, Eric (Trish) Melby, and Elizabeth (Brad) Boyum. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, and one sister Ellen (Carrol) Morris of Rochester. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one great granddaughter Brynn Boyum. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and at the United Methodist Church on Monday 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Monday November 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM at United Methodist Church with The Reverend James Oberg officiating. Interment will be in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
