Mark J. Hodgman, 45, of Claremont, died Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at his residence. Mark was born June 2, 1963 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Frank and Kay (Clark) Hodgman. Mark graduated from Claremont High School in 1981. Following high school he farmed near Claremont. He was united in marriage to Patti Flom on June 15, 1985 in St. John's Lutheran Church, Kasson, MN. They made their home near Claremont. He was employed for the Dodge County Highway Department. Mark enjoyed farming, deer hunting, camping, horseback riding and traveling. He is survived by his wife Patti of Claremont; two sons Travis (and Ashton) Hodgman and Trevor Hodgman, both of Claremont, his father Frank (and Sharon) Hodgman of Claremont, his mother Kay Hanson of Enumclaw, WA; his brothers Frank (and Sarah) Hodgman of West Concord, Steve (and Jennifer) Hodgman of Enumclaw, Matthew (and Ashley) Hodgman of Owatonna, his sister Kathy Clark of Dodge Center, his step-sisters, Tammy (and Bruce) Barry of Lakeville, Terri (and Guy) Finne of West Concord, Melanie (and Rob) Callister of Dodge Center, Jodi Callister of Owatonna, his mother-in-law, Marion Flom of Claremont, and many nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Earl Hanson, his father-in-law, Bennie Flom, a nephew, Ian Clark, his grandparents and an aunt, Judy Clark. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM . Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 10:30 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home, Owatonna.
