Marlis (Misty) L. Clark, age 78, went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2020 at the Koda Living Community in Owatonna. She was born June 6, 1941 in Wasioja Township the daughter of Myron and Doris (Crandall) Tainter. Misty enjoyed spending time with her family and had an artistic side to her. She loved singing and was a member of Sweet Adalines for many years. Misty will be remembered as a loving and caring person who would bring a smile to your face with her sporadic funny comments. We will miss her smile and her loving demeanor. It broke our hearts to lose her, but she did not go alone. For part of us went with her, the day God called her home. She is survived by her children, Christinna (Al) Olson, Anthony (Roxann) Clark, Angela (Mitch) Peterson, Sandra Hofer; grandchildren, Cheston Otterness, Colton Otterness, Samantha Manderfeld, Heather Ewert, Paul Olson, Kristy Olson, Jennifer Reverman, Josh Mendenhall; great grandchildren, Luke, Mindy, Henry, Oliver, Dylan, Alysa, Autumn, Marianah, Monty, Alex, Juniper, Zoey; siblings, Darlene Seberson, Milly Clark, Dianna Clark, Ernie Tainter. Misty was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Robert, Delores, Myrna, and Phyllis. Misty's family would like to extend their gratitude to all the staff at Koda Living Community and Hospice in Owatonna for their attentiveness and loving care. Due to the current distancing restrictions, a private funeral service will be held. She will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Cemetery.
