Marvin Willard 'Bud' Ebeling, 90, of Owatonna, died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Clare Bridge Cottage. He was born March 24, 1919 in Meriden Township the son of John and Clara (Sotebeer) Ebeling. Marvin graduated from Owatonna High School with the class of 1937. He married Delores Haberman September 24, 1941 at The Associated Church in Owatonna. The couple farmed together for ten years before Bud went into the grocery business. For many years he ran the Pratt Store. Bud loved to golf and play cards. Spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren was particularly important to Bud. He is survived by his wife, Delores Ebeling of Owatonna; sons, Douglas (and Pamela) Ebeling of Balsam Lake, WI, David (and Lana) Ebeling of Owatonna; grandsons, Aaron (and Zella) Ebeling of Owatonna, Zachary (and Jenny) Ebeling of Farmington, Nathan (and Karen) Ebeling of Rye, NY, Jason (and Lora) Ebeling of Winterville, NC; 13 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Bud was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Lyle Ebeling and Jack Ebeling. Visitation will be held Friday February 19, 2010 at Michaelson Funeral Home from 10am to 10:30am. Memorial services will be held Friday, February 19, 2010 at Michaelson Funeral Home at 10:30am. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
