Mary Elizabeth Juhl, 93, of Medford, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Owatonna Hospital. Mary Elizabeth Juhl was born October 2, 1921 in Gilbert, Iowa the daughter of Harley and Ada Manges. She was united in marriage to Allen Juhl on May 10, 1941 in Glendale, Calif. The couple farmed in Iowa from 1945 to 1953 and later moved to Hayfield where they farmed until 1958. In 1962, Allen and Mary moved to Deerfield Township and in 1972 they moved to Medford where they made their home. Allen died January 26, 1991. Mary worked at Muckle Manufacturing Co. for 25 years as a welder. She enjoyed reading books, sewing, quilting and watching birds. She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie (Kenneth) Olson, of Cologne, Patricia (Myron) Haugen, of Clear Lake Ia., Kathie Busche, of Alexandria; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, brothers John Manges and Robert Manges and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Allen, son Michael, brothers Kenneth and Henry Manges, her sister Lois Schroeder and grandson Troy. Funeral services will be held Saturday October 11, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with a visitation 1 hour prior. The Reverend Lou Bender will be officiating. Interment will be in the Ft.
