Mason Steven Skalicky, 2 1/2, of Owatonna, died Sunday, December 28, 2008 at the Owatonna Hospital. He was April 19, 2006 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Nick and Sarah (Lee) Skalicky. Mason was a very loving two-year-old boy who loved playing with his twin sisters, watching the movie Cars, dancing, singing, and coloring. He will be sadly missed by his family, parents Nick and Sarah Skalicky, and sisters Sophie Lynn, and Emma Grace, maternal grandparents Steve and Sherry Lee of Ottumwa, IA, paternal grandparents John Skalicky of Owatonna, and Sharon Sorenson of Owatonna. Mason is also survived by, maternal great grandparents Garnett and Marlene Herrington of Ottumwa, IA; paternal great grandfather Marvin Lembke of Owatonna, and maternal great great grandmother Rosetta Lee of Carlisle, IA; and his aunt Amy and Tommy Johnson of Owatonna, and his uncles Steven and Kelsey Lee of Boise, ID, and Mike Skalicky and Joe Skalicky both of Owatonna. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday January 2, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at The Associated Church on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM . Funeral service will be held Saturday January 3, 2009 at 11:00 AM at The Associated Church with the Reverend Ron Wilson officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Owatonna.
