Michael Dennis Bell II, 39, of Owatonna, died unexpectedly, Saturday, September 18, 2021. Mikey was born in Albert Lea, Minnesota on July 25th, 1982. He started his cooking career at the young age of 14 where he worked at the Owatonna Country Club alongside his father. He went on to work at many other restaurants such as Forepaughs (where he worked alongside his brother, Kyle), McCormick and Schmick's, and Torey's just to name a few. He attended Dunwoody College and most recently started working at Viracon. Mikey enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and loved being in Minneapolis (his city). He was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who will be missed dearly. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Andrea Bell; siblings, Sarah Zamora and Stephanie Bell; sister- in-law, Sarah Schwanke; 6 nieces and nephews; 1 great nephew and many loving friends. He is preceded in death by his brother, Kyle Bell; his aunt, Barbara Jensen; his close friend, Justin Malone Lewis, and other family and friends. A gathering will be held from 1-2 PM on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna with a brief time of memory sharing at 1:30 PM. Pastor Lisa Carlson from Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Owatonna will officiate.
