Michael 'Mike' Flemming, 53, of Owatonna, died Friday, August 19, 2011 at his home. Michael Paul Flemming was born September 28, 1957 in Red Wing, Minnesota the son of Walter and Rose (McMahan) Flemming. The family lived in Janesville and in 1968, they moved to Owatonna where Mike attended and graduated from Owatonna High School in 1976. He then worked for D J Siding in Dodge Center and with his brother-in-law, Newell McGee at ABC of Pine Island. He was united in marriage to Rhonda Johnson on November 25, 1978 in Owatonna. In 1986 he bought into ABC Seamless and operated his own business in Owatonna. Mike would take things apart just to see how things worked and could fix anything. He enjoyed snowmobiling in Idaho and out West with his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time at the cabin, fishing, working on cars and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Mike's talent was calling BINGO at the Elks. He enjoyed Thursday nights calling BINGO and most people thought he was the best caller in town. Mike was a member of the Elks and the Eagles Clubs in Owatonna. He is survived by his wife Rhonda Flemming of Owatonna;, two sons, Brad (and Selena) Flemming of Owatonna; Bryan Flemming at home; two daughters, Jennifer (and Shawn) Gaines of Owatonna; Melissa Flemming of Mankato; five grandchildren, Gabrielle, Griffin and Emilia Flemming and Carson and Ethan Gaines; his mother, Rose Flemming of Owatonna; three brothers, Fred (and Ginger) Flemming of Owatonna; James (and Andy) Flemming of Austin; Tom Flemming of Owatonna; seven sisters, Ramona (and Newell) McGee of Pine Island; Jo (and Gary) Nuzum of Owatonna; Mary (and Mike) Wencl of Medford; Patty (and Mike) Simonson of Spring Valley; Becky (and Perry) Bielefeldt of Owatonna; Susan (and Ken) Hodgden of Menahga; Lisa (and Stacey) Hannover of Owatonna; and his mother and father-in-law, Sharon and Bob Maxfield of Owatonna and several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father Walter Flemming (2009). Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service in the church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with The Reverend Karl Korbel and The Reverend John Weisenburger officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
