Michael Mike David Schroeder, 62, of Webster, died Sunday, January 8, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester surrounded by his family. He was born February 9, 1954 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Roger and Jeanette Pat (Anderson) Schroeder. He attended school in Owatonna graduating in 1972. He continued his education for Mechanical Design at Faribault Vo-Tech. Following his schooling, he worked at OMC for a few years. On August 30, 1975, he married Lori Marik at St. John Lutheran Church in Owatonna. The couple lived in northeast Minneapolis for a short time before moving to Webster. Mike was most recently employed at Sensata in Shakopee as a mechanical designer. Mike enjoyed camping, hunting, playing cards, rendezvous, and cowboy reenactments. He is survived by his wife, Lori of Webster; mother, Pat of Waterville; son, Chris (Chrissie) and their children, Bryant, Trinity, Alayna and Mason all of Le Center; brothers, Dan of Waterville, Pete (Gina) of Monterey, CA, Doug of Faribault and Tom of Waterville and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by father, Roger. Visitation will be 4-7pm Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna and at church one hour prior to the service. Funeral service will be 11am Thursday, January 12, 2017 at St. John Lutheran Church in Owatonna with Pastor Dave Klawiter officiating. Interment will be in Owatonna Memorial Gardens.
