Michael David Tysdale, 25, of Owatonna, died Monday, January 24, 2011 at Homestead Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. Michael David Tysdale was born January 17, 1986 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of David and Audrey (Rassman) Tysdale. He attended school in Owatonna and earned his GED in 2004. Michael's zest for life took him down the path of adventure. He loved fishing, playing golf, hunting, playing cards, attending music festivals and hanging out with his family and friends. Michael especially loved his nieces and nephew, Sofia, Cora and Reese. He is survived by his parents David and Audrey Tysdale of Owatonna; brothers, Justin (and Angie) Tysdale of Breezy Point, MN; Ryan (and Renee) Piepho of Owatonna; sister, Jillisa Veit of Buffalo, MN; nieces, Sofia Tysdale, Cora Piepho; nephews, Reese Piepho, Mitchell Veit and Austin Veit; and his maternal grandparents, Gordon and Gladys Rassman of Owatonna. He was preceded in death by his cousin, Jared Tysdale, aunt, Joanne Tysdale, uncle, Christopher Tysdale and paternal grandparents, Bernyce and Arnold Tysdale. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday, January 28, 2011 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with The Reverend Julie Malone officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
