Myron Lee Louks, 89, of Owatonna, died December 4, 2023, at his home in Owatonna.

He was born May 7, 1934, the son of Burl J. and Alma L. (Schall) Louks, in Granada, MN. He served in the United States Army and then returned to MN where he met Luanne and her son Terry. On February 9, 1960, he married Luanne R Kopischke in Owatonna. They lived in Bixby, Claremont and then Owatonna. Myron worked at Wenger's in Owatonna and farmed south of Claremont for many years.

He is survived by his; daughter-in-law, Linda Behrens of Byron; three grandchildren, Taletha (Colby) Skar of Middleton, WI, Erica Behrens (Tyler Larsen) of Kasson and Rachel Behrens of St. Paul; three great-grandchildren, Elliana and Iver Skar and Levi Larsen; two brothers Dennis (Janine) Louks, Michael (Charlene) Louks; two sisters Sharon (Carroll) Toquam, Norma (Joe) Pearson and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Luanne Louks, son Terry Behrens, two brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna. A private family burial will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Claremont.
