Nadine J. Ihrke, 87, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Mary's Campus. Nadine was born June 15, 1927 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of Albert and Minnie (Brocker) Casperson. She attended country school and later Owatonna High School. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Ihrke on November 20, 1947 in Owatonna. Nadine found balance between raising 10 children and working various jobs. She worked at George's Candy Kitchen (now Costa's) George's Supper Club in Medford, Country Hearth Motel, Open Hearth Supper Club and also at the Super 8. Kenneth died in November 1989. Nadine had many interest. She enjoyed watching stock car racing, word search puzzles, old time music, Bingo and ceramics. Most important and her greatest accomplishment was her family. She loved having them all together for the holidays and just being able to spend as much time with them as she could. She is survived by eight sons, Roger (and Laura) Ihrke of Owatonna; Dennis (and Pam) Ihrke of Owatonna; Tim (and Karla) Ihrke of Owatonna; Robert Bob ( and Cindy) Ihrke of Owatonna; Curtis (and Janice) Ihrke of Coon Rapids; Mark (and Val) Ihrke of Stacy; Kendall (and Karren) Ihrke of Owatonna; Douglas Ihrke of Owatonna; two daughters, Linda Jensen of Owatonna; Kimberly (and Mark) Dressel of Kenyon; a brother, Kenneth Casperson of Owatonna; 23 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth; her parents; a great grandson, Josiah and a brother DueLloyd Casperson. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with The Reverend Nancy Edwardson officiating.
