Nadine Jines died on April 20, 2025, at Benedictine Living Community in Owatonna, Minnesota.

Nadine Mae Kriesel was born on May 31, 1926, in Merton Township, Steele County, Minnesota to Paul and Muriel (Yule) Kriesel. After graduating from Owatonna High School in 1944, she traveled to Washington D.C. to work at the U.S. Navy Department. While working in Washington, she met Isaac T. "Tom" Jines. After a brief courtship, they were married on September 20, 1945. They lived for a while in San Diego, California and New Orleans, Louisiana. After his military service, they settled in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Then, they moved to Owatonna, Minnesota in 1947. During her working years, she was employed by several businesses as a secretary.

Nadine always had an interest in spiritual things and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on May 20, 1961. Her life revolved around congregation activities and her many friends at the Kingdom Hall. She was known for her hospitality. Outside her spiritual pursuits, Nadine really enjoyed traveling, building projects with her husband, and tending a large garden.

Nadine was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, her parents, and all four siblings. She is survived by her son, Michael (Dona) Jines of Northfield and Rebecca Jines of Owatonna; granddaughters, Alicia (Eric) Scholz and Erin(Jose) Duarte of Fort Myers, Florida; and twin-great-grandsons, Riley (Betty) Scholz and Logan Scholz.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 800 Robinswood Place, Owatonna, Minnesota, on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
