Nancy Lucille McCartney, 73, of Owatonna, died Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Clare Bridge Cottage for Alzheimer''s Care. She was born September 1, 1936 in Rochester, New York the daughter of R. Edward and Margaret (O'Shea) Delbridge. Nancy married Clayton McCartney July 26, 1962. Nancy was an assistant librarian at Coon Rapids Sr. High School for 14 years. After retiring the couple moved to Bella Vista, AR for 15 years and in 2008 returned to Minnesota to reside in Owatonna. Nancy was a wonderful wife, mother and friend to many. Her wonderful disposition and gift of friendship will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Nancy is survived by her husband, Clayton; sons, Chad (and Keri) McCartney of Laredo, TX, Matt (and Sherry) McCartney of Owatonna; grandkids, Taylor, Christian, Tanner, Miyah, and Macie McCartney and Cody, Caedon and Conner McCartney; sister, Sally (and Bill) Crowley of Scottsville, NY and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Chris McCartney. Visitation will be held Friday February 12, 2010 at Michaelson Funeral Home from 4pm to 5pm with a memorial service starting at 5pm.
