Neil Lewis Martin, 86, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

He was born January 29, 1939, in Owatonna, Minnesota, the son of Harry and Gladys (Olsen) Martin. Neil was raised in Claremont, Minnesota and graduated as Valedictorian of Claremont High School in 1957. He then went on to further his education at the University of Minnesota where he received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He worked as an electrical engineer and traveled for most of his life before returning to Owatonna. Neil was very intelligent; you could find him reading and always wanting to further his knowledge on various topics.

Neil is survived by the Hodgman family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Burial will be taking place in the Claremont Street Cemetery.
