IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Olivia Kay Marie
Flores
November 22, 2005 – May 19, 2024
Olivia Kay Marie Flores, 18, of Owatonna, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
She was born November 22, 2005 in Owatonna, to Carlos and Stephanie (Oleson) Flores. Growing up Olivia knew that she wanted to be a cheerleader, and she was her brother Christian's personal cheerleader in every sport that he played in. Olivia had a passion for cheer, she won numerous events from; Toe Touch competition, two-time state cheer champion, and lettering over 10 times on the Owatonna Cheer Teams. She had the true leader personality, wanting to make you better because she knew that you could be better. She would work endlessly at different stunts to prove that it could be done, and then help show and teach you that you can do it too.
Olivia loved being a teenager and enjoying life and her family and friends. She loved to wear her athleisure wear with her Stanley mug and go out to eat and enjoy being around those that she wanted to spend quality time with. Olivia loved watching musicals with her dad and singing Wicked and the Wizard of Oz, and she would jump, dance and sing with him. She would Curl up and snuggle with her mom and watch countless movies and binge watch tv shows and lose track of time because of the quality time they shared. Olivia at night if her dad didn't come down to say goodnight would go to the stairs and ask him, "Are you coming down". She did things Liv's Way, she was fearless, adventurist, wanting to experience the world, but most of all she just wanted to have fun.
She is survived by her parents, Carlos and Stephanie Flores of Owatonna; brother, Christian Flores; Premium Uncle, Jon Oleson; grandparents, Randy Oleson, Cindy Oleson, Maria Rodriguez; great-grandma Caroline Sorenson; aunts, Anna (Jaime) Trevino, Lisa (Mark) Barrie, Michal (Bryan) Otte, Jenna Kaplan; uncle, Alberto Garza; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, Mario Rodriguez; great-uncle, Gary Boettcher; great-grandparents Clarence Boettcher, Amalia Rodriguez, Herb Sorensen, and Darrell and LaVonne Oleson.
