Patricia 'Pat' C. Crull 64, of Claremont, died Sunday, August 31, 2008 at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, after a very courageous fight with cancer. Pat was very determined and positive that she was going to beat the cancer in any way possible. One person from the hospital called her 'The Woman of Hope'. She was born February 4, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Harold and Adeline (Matykanis) Schmit. Pat graduated from Plainfield, WI High School and married Steve Crull August 8, 1964 in Bancroft, WI. After living in Pennsylvania for a few years they moved to Owatonna in 1970 and later to Claremont in 1980. Pat worked at Sherwin- Williams in Owatonna for seventeen years where she enjoyed helping every customer. She was an amazing seamstress and quilt maker, and a very talented homemaker. Pat very much wore the crown as 'motherly', taking care of everyone''s needs. Patricia is survived by her husband Steve of Claremont; four children, Thomas (and Kristin Kopischke) Crull of Minnetonka, Michael (and partner David Heide) Crull of St. Paul, Kathleen (and Thomas) Ebeling of Victorville, CA, and Melinda Eggleston of St. Paul, she is also survived by her mother Adeline Schmit and by two grandchildren, William Crull and Jaclyn Ebeling. Her father preceded her in death. A time to share stories of Pat''s life will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Thursday September 4, 2008 from 4-8 PM. A private family service will be held at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to the donor''s choice.
