Patricia Patty Jane Krause, 60, of Owatonna, died Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Birchwood Cottages. She was born November 22, 1957 in Owatonna the daughter of Warren and Louise (Danks) Krause. Patty graduated from Owatonna High School and attended Faribault Vo-Tech. She then began her 40 year career with Brown Printing in Waseca. Following a work injury in 2016 she resided in Koda Living Community until moving to Birchwood Cottages in 2017. She enjoyed growing up and living on the family farm. For many years she was a caregiver for her parents in their home. Patty loved being an aunt and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was a very generous person. Patty enjoyed outings with her friends, traveling, puzzles, word finds, bingo, casino games on her iPad and occasional trips to the casino. She was a member of the Birchwood Cottages choir and 4-H in her youth. She is survived by her mother, Louise Krause of Owatonna; sisters, Rebecca (and David) Linders of Owatonna, Anita (and Kevin) Dunlavey of Jackson, Cynthia Norton of St. Paul, Holly Coady of Monticello; nieces and nephews, Tracy (and Duane) Boyum, Timothy (and Shelli) Linders, Ryan (and Lisa) Dunlavey, Megan (and Dan) Meyers, Kaitlin (and Joe) Sullivan, Nicholas (and Amy) Norton, Alex Coady, Anthony Coady; 13 great nieces and nephews and 4 great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Warren; brother in law, Richard; great great niece, Crystal Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Monday from 1pm to 2pm. Patty would appreciate your attendance in bright colorful attire at her funeral service which will be held Monday, June 11, 2018 at 2pm at Michaelson Funeral Home with Chaplain Tom Franklin officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Owatonna. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Croix Hospice, Epilepsy Foundation or to the donor's choice.
