Patricia A. Patti Frechette 73, of Owatonna, died after a brief battle with cancer with her family by her side Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Mayo Clinic Hospital Methodist Campus. She was born May 21, 1941 in Austin, Minnesota, the daughter of Laurence and Margaret (Stoltman) Schroer. Patti graduated from Blooming Prairie High School with the class of 1959, and then worked for Federated Insurance. She was united in marriage to Moses Frechette in August of 1966. The couple made their home in Owatonna. Patti enjoyed doing crafts, writing poetry, flower gardening, crosswords, and collecting owls and snowmen. Patti also enjoyed being with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her siblings Roger (Patti) Schroer of Owatonna, Kathy (Jim) Pantier of Owatonna, Sandra Schroer of Owatonna, Mary Jo Pramann of Owatonna, and Larry (Tracy) Schroer Jr. of Glenville. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Moses. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday September 17, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 17, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Pastor James Avery officiating. Interment will be in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
