Patricia Pat Ann Zeise, 67, of Owatonna, died Sunday, May 21, 2017 at her home. She was born March 3, 1950 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the daughter of Arie and Betty (Bender) Wabeke. As a child she moved with her family to a farmstead south of Owatonna where she grew up and attended country school. During her high school years, the family moved to Owatonna. Pat graduated from Owatonna High School, Class of 1968. She continued her education at a technical college for two years. Following her schooling, she moved to Minneapolis and worked at Honeywell for a few years. She returned to Owatonna and began her 42 year career at OTC, retiring in March of 2015. Pat was united in marriage to Ernie Zeise on April 5, 1975 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Owatonna. They made their home in Owatonna where they raised their daughter, Michele. Pat was an avid golfer, an accomplished seamstress and was active in the Owatonna Figure Skating Club. In her retirement, she participated in the Farmers Market each weekend selling her sewing products. Her pride and joy in life were her two grandsons. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband Ernie Zeise of Owatonna; daughter, Michele (Nick) Wigern of Kiester; grandsons, Kade and Carter Wigern of Kiester; brother, John Wabeke of Sedona, Arizona; sisters, Barbara (Terry) Condit of Faribault and Wilma (Gary) Volkmann of Owatonna; brother-in-law, Eugene (Judy) Zeise of Owatonna and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arie and Betty and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Janet and Maynard Blume. A visitation will be held at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 4-7 pm and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Michaelson Funeral Home with Reverend Dean Smith officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date. Memorials are preferred to the Owatonna Figure Skating Club or Trinity Lutheran Church Youth Group.
