Patsy Hope, 75, of Blooming Prairie, formerly of Kenyon died Monday, September 28, 2009 at Prairie Manor Nursing Home, Blooming Prairie. Patsy was born November 29, 1933 in Iowa the daughter of Leonard and Ruby (Beaver) Farus. She moved with her family to Kenyon and here she attended school. She married Robert Hope in Kenyon. They continued to make their home in Kenyon. Robert died in 1969. Shortly after her husband''s death, she moved to Arizona and in 1970, she moved to Faribault. She worked various jobs in Faribault. Patsy then moved to Austin and in 2003, she entered the Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Blooming Prairie. She is survived by a son, Charles Hope of Deland, FL; a daughter, Nancy (and Ira) Goldberg of Deland, FL; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Hope of Hopkins; Doris Meyer of Mankato; six grandchildren and one great grandson. Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, a brother, a sister and her parents. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 2, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Holden Lutheran Cemetery, Kenyon, Minnesota with The Reverend Paul Reppe officiating.
